Frequently Asked Questions

Is my image uploaded to a server?

No. Everything happens in your browser using the Canvas API. Your images are never uploaded anywhere, making this tool completely private and secure.

What aspect ratios are available?

You can choose from Free (custom), 1:1 (square), 4:3, 16:9, 3:2, 5:4, 2:3, 4:5, and 9:16. The selected ratio constrains the crop selection area to match that proportion.

Can I rotate or flip the image before cropping?

Yes. Use the Rotate Left and Rotate Right buttons to rotate the image in 90-degree increments. The Flip H and Flip V buttons mirror the image horizontally or vertically. These transformations are applied to the crop preview area.

What output formats are supported?

You can download the cropped image as PNG (lossless, supports transparency), JPEG (smaller file size, adjustable quality), or WebP (modern format, smaller than JPEG at equivalent quality). The quality slider is available for JPEG and WebP formats.

Can I crop multiple images at once?

Currently, the tool processes one image at a time. After cropping and downloading, click "Crop Another" to load a new image and start over.
